As the Facility
Security Officer for a AA facility, manage multiple security
disciplines simultaneously, while providing direct and continuous
supervision to subordinates and the general facility population in
all areas of industrial security. To manage through vision and
values by establishing direction, vision, while driving innovative
changes for organization development. To develop enduring
relationships with internal and external customers to ensure
horizontal integration with demonstrated social acumen. Capable of

Position Description
|
|
Conducts
assigned Internal Security Controls through performance of
compliance assessment reviews and self inspections to ensure
compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action.
Assists less experienced personnel with Internal Security
Controls. Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel,
processes and situations in accordance with established
operating procedures to determine level and scope of
non-compliance with government and company
regulations/requirements. Assists less experienced personnel
with Administrative Inquiries. Conducts Communication Security (COMSEC)
duties and responsibilities in compliance with government
regulations/requirements. Assists COMSEC custodians and less
experienced personnel in COMSEC responsibilities. Protects
government, intellectual, third party and company information
from unauthorized disclosures through development,
implementation and administration of an Operational Security
program, security education, procedures and physical controls to
ensure compliance with government and company
regulations/requirements on less complex programs. Leads and
performs Personnel Security team and/or processes (works with
databases, reviews files, conducts interviews, submittals to
customers and schedules briefings) to assist in obtaining
individual security clearances/accesses for standard customer
requirements. Conducts security awareness training and education
program (e.g., briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to
educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people,
property and information. Performs Physical Security duties and
responsibilities within Boeing facilities (e.g., complete
fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and
approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas)
to ensure compliance with company and government
regulations/requirements. Performs Sub-Contractor Management
(e.g., providing contractual requirements and direction, site
assistance visits and reviews) to ensure compliance with
government regulations/requirements. Participates, as requested,
on enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) sub or task teams.
Assists less experienced personnel with Administrative
Inquiries. |

Duties and Responsibilities |
Duties include, but are
not limited to maintaining and administering security
policies and procedures as required by DoD, Air Force,
and National level guidance. Update unit security
operating instructions, advise the Unit Security Manager
(USM) or alternate of security issues pertaining to the
unit, attend Installation Security Program Manger (ISPM)
hosted security manager meetings, conduct a review of
classified products produced by unit personnel and
submit findings to the USM and assist the USM in
producing and maintaining the Security Manger’s
Handbook. Additionally, produce Information Security
training materials and provide quarterly training to
unit personnel as defined in AFI 31-401. Notify
personnel of pending reinvestigation and requirement for
submission of SF86, prepare AF Form 2583, process
interim security clearance paperwork if necessary,
process and maintain Non-Disclosure Agreements, process
contractor Local Area Network and unit badge paperwork,
assist with issuing of student badges, and complete
other administrative duties as required. Maintain a
folder on each on-base contractor for which a Visitor
Group Security Agreement has been executed, provide
information security program training (initial,
refresher and annual) and other security awareness
support to integrated visitor groups, and assist the USM
in maintaining the required six-part folder on
integrated visitor groups. |
