Position Summary:
To support
the 46th Range Group (46 RANG), at Eglin Air Force Base (AFB),
by providing acquisition security support. Familiar with Air
Force Anti-terrorism procedures, have actively worked a
base/unit program. Must be proficient in Industrial, Personnel,
Information and OPSEC security disciplines; in order to make
decisions and accomplish the duties equivalent of Analyst 4
position. Industrial security requires working knowledge of
DD254, and VGSA. Personnel security requires in depth working
knowledge of JPAS, review of SF86, and government processing of
investigations. Information security requires knowledge of
marking, shipping and securing classified information. OPSEC
security requires relationship building with the over 1200
personnel, in order to have ears and eyes everywhere. Support of
46th RANG required assisting in the following : security
evaluation of program information and hardware throughout the
program life cycle; development of various plans including
System Security Management, Program Protection, Security Risk
Analyses, OPSEC plans, Security Vulnerability and
Countermeasures Analyses, Security Concepts of Operations and
other system security engineering-related documents; supports
requests for and assist in the evaluation of government
generated security-related surveys, assessments and studies;
assist in preparation or presentation of system security
engineering management related reports and reviews; assist in
maintaining a database which reflects receipt, storage,
inventory and disposition of classified information to include
data entry, updates and generation of reports; assist in
maintaining a database of visits and clearance level; requiring
operational knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007, assist in
performing inspection, inventory, logging, storage,
documentation, transmittal and internal distribution of
classified information received; assist in providing security
inspection and protection to areas where classified information
is being stored; assist in designing or establishing security
procedures and policies. Experience with MAX base access system
a plus.
